hey, i’m chloe

... but, in this particular space, i’m more commonly known as COCO.

I craft design that’s considered, a little unexpected, and built to actually work in the real world, not just sit pretty in a mockup and fall apart the second it hits print, a screen, or a deadline.

I sit somewhere between instinct & structure.

I’ll question the brief, pull things apart, and look for the thread that actually matters, then build something that feels clear, confident, and quietly different.

Not loud for the sake of it, and not safe for the sake of it either.

With a background across both in-house and freelance, I don’t just think about the idea, I think about where it’s going. From first concept through to final production, every detail has a job.

For a long time, I designed around my own style instead of leaning into it. Then somewhere between moodboards, mind maps, and overthinking everything, I noticed a pattern I’d somehow missed for years, leopard print. Not as a statement, but as a constant. Always there, never the hero, but never not present either. And once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it. It’s essentially a system of imperfect C and O shapes, structured chaos, variation within consistency, bold and restrained at the same time. Which, it turns out, is exactly how I design.

I don’t believe in forcing a style that isn’t yours.

People evolve, sure, but there’s always that thread. The work gets better when you lean into that instead of designing what you think you should be.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me in some version of ripped jeans, a black top, and gold hoops... I’m loyal to comfort. I’m the kind of person who finds a pair of comfy shoes, then goes back and buys another 2 pairs (and future me is always stoked I did!).

I’m fuelled by (an obscene amount of) coffee,
90’s RnB, & ideas that won’t leave me alone until they’re made real.

If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably not looking for safe.

If you want design that’s thoughtful, impactful, and perfectly imperfect, let’s grab a coffee, It’s my shout :)
